'I have taught a myriad of clients which has only reinforced to me that no matter who you are or what you do for a living, every person walking the earth benefits from a healthy spine and quiet mind.

​

Helping each individual find a state of harmony and reach their full potential is a passion of mine and working together to tailor the sequence to each student, reaping the most benefits both internally and externally is most rewarding for both teacher, student as well as those around us.

​

Usually dividing my attention between studio classes, private lessons, corporate classes and formerly kids classes has given me the ability to focus on varied dynamics, ability & energy levels all with differing reasons for turning to yoga.

​

I have created this online portal in order to share with you Ayuvedic and yogic rituals which have helped me. These are yogic and Ayurvedic rituals you can adapt into your everyday life.'

​

Sophia believes that the very core of any health program involves putting yourself first so that you can discover the energy and enthusiasm to help others as well!

 

As an avid yoga, meditation + Kindred instructor, she's developed an easily-accessible way to give you simple and effective tools for improving your wellness on a constant basis.

​

A true advocate for the benefits of yoga; Sophia's aim is to assist people from all walks of life in their journey through experiencing the many benefits of yoga and implementing a holistically healthy lifestyle acting as a means to refresh and revitalise their life.

 

Sophia brings a wealth of experience to every class. Yoga and meditation have been a part of Sophia’s life for over 20 years after her parents came home from a Depak Chopra yoga & meditation retreat when she was eight and invited meditation and yoga into the daily routine over the holidays. She began her adult practice over 14 years ago with Power Living and believes yoga has helped her grow stronger, more flexible and fearless, both on and off the mat. Learning yoga inspires people to be present in each second and live each moment more mindfully.

 

Teaching at Body Mind Life and formerly Hot Dog Yoga & This is Yoga, Flow Lab Yoga, Virgin Active, Fitness First, Body Ethos, Solar Springs Health Retreat & Connect Kids Yoga has given Sophia a diverse demographic of students to work with.

 

Sophia has completed over 700 hours of Yoga Teacher Training Beginning at Body Mind Life in 2017 then focusing on Philosophy & Sequencing and has since completed 25 hours of Kids Yoga Training through Zenergy. As well as Mindful Birth Yoga Training at Elixr.

 

Sophia has just completed another 300 hours of Soulfull Wellness Yoga Training with Shiva Rea, the founder of Vinyasa Flow Yoga. This magical training really helps to expand your sadhana practise into your every day life taking your practise off the mat.

 

After exploring meditation through yoga for years Sophia decided to deepen her meditation practice and is a trained Kindred Meditation Facilitator and following that journeyed to live in a Hare Krishna Temple for 11 months studying Vedic Philosophy.

​

Most recently Sophia has completed her Kundalini Tantra Yoga Training with Nirvana Yoga Shala, Rishikesh, India. Kundalini is a very different style which is physically more gentle but energetically much more powerful, energising and leads to awakening of dormant energy.

 

With a background in classical ballet Sophia loves to combine technical sequencing with a creative playfulness as well as modifications to build inspiration helping you deepen your practice. “We are all divine, divinity connects us all. When we see ourselves in others we remember that and when we forget; we practice yoga.”

 

Sophia has recently been featured with Stylerunner Health Club, The Upside, Aje Athletica, Hot Dog Yoga, This is Yoga , Bowern Yoga etc. Whether you are an absolute beginner, occasional downward-dogger or well seasoned yogi - Sophia has got you.

Sophia takes you out of the every day stress and rush of work, chores, appointments and mobile phones and gives you the space to reenergise physically and mentally.
